The Netherlands August 2024 - Strandweer.nu is the website for tourist Netherlands for those who want to experience a day out live at the sea at home.

Strandweer.nu wants to serve a wide audience with the daily weather forecast, beach news and information for water sports enthusiasts. National weather forecasts sometimes contrast with local weather. That is why Strandweer.nu uses live images as much as possible along the Dutch coast and, where necessary, installs additional webcams together with its partners.

Live images of important events or happenings can be viewed. And of course Strandweer.nu can keep an extra eye on things during emergencies on or around the beach and in the sea. When large mammals have washed ashore or other sensational news live.

National Thanks to our webcams, Strandweer.nu is gaining national fame, but also internationally through our YouTube channel, as evidenced by the messages that reach us via the mailbox from all parts of the world. In the high season up to 90,000 visitors per month on the Strandweer.nu website. Even radio and television stations follow us in the summer months to Germany, where relatively many tourists come from.

Advertising can be done in the following ways. International

Nearly 20,000 people have subscribed to the Strandweer.nu YouTube channel. A pair of heavy storms in February 2022 resulted in a monthly visitor record of 687K and 390,637 visits on February 18. On average half a million times a month during the summer months.

Your company logo can be placed in our 12 beach cameras, at the most popular seaside resorts and at unique locations in Egmond aan Zee, Zandvoort, Noordwijk, Scheveningen and Hoek van Holland.

Figures and target group In 2023, this amounted to 4.757 million visits, which is good for 650.100 hours, 72 years of viewing pleasure and good for an estimated 750,000 unique visitors.

- 65.4% of these visitors came from the Netherlands
- in terms of age, the largest group (62.4%) is 55+
- the ratio of men and women is 72.4% to 27.5%

Apps Strandweer.nu focuses on both young water sports enthusiasts and day tourists of all ages. The website will be updated in the summer and autumn for even more interaction via the new apps.

Business messages, beach jobs and events

Business messages, events and beach vacancies are announced via Facebook and Twitter and cost each € 165. With bulk (3 or more together) with some discount. We charge a special rate for catering at the beach pavilions. Your vacancy will remain online for 2 months on our jobs page at Jobmatcher.nu.

We emphasize that there is no room for advertising for drugs and gambling.
